Possible Plot Details to Ridely Scott’s #Alien Prequel, #Prometheus!!!

Nothing is really known about Ridley Scott’s film Prometheus. There’s still speculation that Prometheus is a prequel film to Alien or something else entirely. 

Over in ComicBookMovie, they’ve uncovered a possible leak to the plot of the film and it looks legit.

Read below and please take it with a grain of salt! 

Earth. Year 2058. 

Archaeological digs in Africa reveal alien artifacts that humans were genetically engineered by a advanced alien race (space jockeys). These “Alien Gods” also terraformed Earth in order to make it habitable for their human creations. Amongst finds are coordinates to the Alien God’s home-world, to Paradise. Months later the Weyland Corp launch the spaceship PROMETHEUS and his crew, into deep space to make first contact. Thanks to faster than light travel a few years later the PROMETHEUS enters the Zeta Riticuli star system. Humans are greeted by their makers, then transported further into space to a scary yet fascinating world. The Alien Gods are proud of their “children”, their first creation to reach such levels of intelligence. 

As a reward they share bits of their astonishing bio-basedtechnologies with the humans. But for one crew member of the Prometheus it’s not enough. In a treacherous act he steals the “bio-source code” to Terraforming, a technology at the origin of all Gods’ power, that could make humans equal to the gods. The Alien Gods may be scientists but are also ruthless conquerors, destroyers of worlds who will not accept humans as equals. They unleash on the escaping human crew their favorite bio-weapon, a creature used to “clean up” worlds before colonization. But something goes wrong in the process and humans manage to turn the bio-weapon against their makers. Giving birth to a smarter, nastier, bigger breed of gut eating creatures. Creatures that will be the demise of Paradise. What’s left of the Prometheus crew manages to escape the doomed planet. 

On their trail a survivor Alien God in very familiar ship with one ultimate mission.

BREAKING: #Avengers Stuntman SCALPED During 30-Foot Fall

Stuntman Jeremy Fitzgerald nearly loses his head while on the set of Joss Whedon’s Avengers when a stunt went horribly wrong. 

TMZ Reports: 

TMZ, his job was simple — get hit with an arrow and fall 30 feet off a building … but he caught his foot on the way down, and slammed his head into the brick … leaving behind a freshly peeled slab of scalp.

But it could have been a LOT worse — according to Jeremy, he narrowly missed a razor sharp rain gutterduring the accident.

Luckily this stuntman is a badass and went back to work with no hospital visit. EPIC!!!

Christopher Meloni in Negotiations to Join #Superman Film and it’s not as #LexLuthor

Vulture reports Christopher Meloni’s new role post Law and Order SVU. 

When Vulture caught up with the now ex–Law & Order: SVU star at the Public Theater Gala earlier this week, he told us he’d be instead playing a general in the movie. But when we pressed for more information about the role, he said, “I can’t tell you, or I’d have to kill you.”

With out Chistopher Meloni killing me, I’m speculating his role might be Lois Lane’s father, General Sam Lane! 

U.S. Supreme Court Strikes Down #California Law that would have Banned Selling Violent #VideoGames to Children

CNN Reports the US Supreme Court has struck down a California Law that would have banned the selling of violent video games to children.

The 7-2 ruling Monday is a victory for video game makers and sellers, who said the ban — which has yet to go into effect — would extend too far. They say the existing nationwide, industry-imposed, voluntary rating system is an adequate screen for parents to judge the appropriateness of computer game content.

The state says it has a legal obligation to protect children from graphic, interactive images when the industry has failed to do so.

The case is Schwarzenegger v. Entertainment Merchants Assn. (08-1448).
